Introducing an advanced new treatment for acne, Kleresca is a unique way to treat inflammatory lesions of mild to severe acne vulgaris, with high levels of safety and efficacy. It is non-invasive, with no downtime or pain, and produces effective, visible results.
What is Kleresca ?
Kleresca represents a completely new mode of action in the field of dermatology. It uses BioPhotonics, a light conversion system designed to stimulate the tissue’s own repair mechanisms and normalise cell activity, improving the complexion and reducing scarring. A gel is applied to the skin which allows the energy of the light to penetrate into the dermis, killing the bacteria responsible for acne (P. acnes) and reducing inflammation.
How is the treatment given?
The gel is applied to the area to be treated. This is usually the face, but can also be used for the chest and back. A lamp is lowered over the area and emits a warm glow that is completely comfortable. Because the light is bright, eye shields are worn throughout the treatment. The treatment is only 9 minutes long, and after this time the gel is removed and the face cleaned. The treatment is performed twice a week for 6 weeks, producing results that continue for 6-12 months.
Are there any side effects?
While you may feel a warming sensation on your skin, most people find the treatment pleasant and comfortable. The skin looks pink for up to 48 hours but oil-free makeup can be applied immediately to cover this.
