Kleresca Gel

What is Kleresca Rosacea Treatment?

The treatment is based on the interaction between a specially designed gel and the Kleresca light. The gel contains chromophores that are activated by the light of the lamp and converted into fluorescent light energy. The fluorescence penetrates the different layers of the skin and stimulates it at a cellular level. The changes experienced are a reduction in inflammation, redness and blushing by improving microvascularization. It also reduces the stress level of the the skin, resulting in a reduction in the feeling of burning and stinging.

Kleresca Treatment

A nurse will apply the Kleresca gel to the cleansed area to be treated, usually the face, but it can also be used to improve the chest, neck or hands. The gel is then photo-activated using a multi-LED lamp which is lowered over the area and emits a comfortable warm glow. Because the light is bright, eye shields are worn throughout the treatment. The treatment is only 9 minutes long, after which the gel is removed and the face cleaned. The treatment is performed once a week for four weeks and the results continue to improve over the following 2 to 3 months.
