Kleresca Rosacea Treatment has been designed for those suffering from rosacea signs and symptoms. The treatment has demonstrated a high level of safety and efficacy, it also improves the overall quality of the skin. It will continue to improve the skin even after the treatment course. Kleresca Rosacea is a non-invasive treatment with visible results and no downtime or pain.
What is Kleresca Rosacea Treatment?
The treatment is based on the interaction between a specially designed gel and the Kleresca light. The gel contains chromophores that are activated by the light of the lamp and converted into fluorescent light energy. The fluorescence penetrates the different layers of the skin and stimulates it at a cellular level. The changes experienced are a reduction in inflammation, redness and blushing by improving microvascularization. It also reduces the stress level of the the skin, resulting in a reduction in the feeling of burning and stinging.
A nurse will apply the Kleresca gel to the cleansed area to be treated, usually the face, but it can also be used to improve the chest, neck or hands. The gel is then photo-activated using a multi-LED lamp which is lowered over the area and emits a comfortable warm glow. Because the light is bright, eye shields are worn throughout the treatment. The treatment is only 9 minutes long, after which the gel is removed and the face cleaned. The treatment is performed once a week for four weeks and the results continue to improve over the following 2 to 3 months.
The side effects seen in some patients are all transient and my include redness, swelling and hyperpigmentation but this settles in a few hours. The skin can look pink for up to 48 hours but make-up can be applied immediately to cover this.
